Starting this 'schoolyear' though, I signed her up with School of Tomorrow's homeschool program, and we will be using the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum.

"In every thing give thanks."
I'll be adding hands-on activities also, to support whatever concepts are being taught in the paces. For the first day, we used beads as math manipulatives, and we played a game where I took pictures of different patterns all over the house. Skye had to go around and find where they were taken from. Thinking of different activities is the part that's going to be challenging for me. Thank goodness for Google and the internet!
Since I'm not really musically-inclined, I decided to enroll Skye at Trumpets Musicademy for kiddie voice lessons. She goes there once a week and has a 30-minute one-on-one session with Teacher Delight, one of the voice teachers there. Right now, she's learning "Sing", that song by Karen Carpenter.
Well, that's what we did for her first homeschool session. I'm hoping all goes well from here. I think we're off to a pretty good start. Please pray for us! :)
